The The Black Crowes are suing country singer Gretchen Wilson for copywright infringement, alleging that she and her songwriters exploited the Chris and Rich Robinson's song "Jealous Again" for her song, "Work Hard Play Harder."
The band's song, "Jealous Again" was a hit in 1991.
According to the press release, longtime manager of the Black Crowes, Pete Angelus, says, "We find the musical verses of Wilson's song to be such an obvious example of copyright infringement that I expect all parties to reach a relatively quick resolution to avoid litigation."
